To mark over 2 years of community building, Nuffnang.com is presenting the first ever Asia-Pacific Blog Awards.
Honouring the best of the blogosphere in our region, we would be running 2 months worth of nominations and
campaigning. This would eventually culminate in a GRAND blogger affair in Singapore.
Invites would be given to 60 of the region’s best bloggers, and 360 bloggers and guests for this 3 Day 2 Night
affair. Transportations and accommodations would be provided for foreign bloggers in the region.
Bloggers will descend on the fair shores of Singapore on the 23rd October 2009 and create an evening of
unparalleled glamour & prestige.
Bloggers can look forward to a classy Gala Dinner at the Pan Pacific Singapore Grand Ballroom and be dazzled by regional entertainers which includes some of the biggest names in Asian showbiz.
The following days would be filled with an action packed itinerary of Uniquely Singapore experiences where
numerous surprises will be in store!

STAGE 1: Nominations
The inaugural Nuffnang Asia-Pacific Blog Awards starts now. This is the crucial stage of nominating your favourite bloggers in Asia-Pacific. Nominations are open to all bloggers in the region. Nuffnang.com is putting the power in your hands to tell us who deserves to be nominated for these 12 categories.

The top 5 nominees from each categories will be shortlisted based on your nominations and our panel which includes Nuffnang, our partners, and industry experts, to go through the voting stage.

STAGE 2: Blog Contest
Bloggers from Asia-Pacific stand a chance to be a part of the first ever Asia-Pacific Blog Awards along with 60 of the region’s best bloggers, regional entertainers and a Uniquely Singapore experience.
Nuffnang.com is running a regional blog contest to crown the top 100 blog entries. These bloggers
selected as the Top 100 would receive a pair of invites to attend the
glamorous award ceremony.
Foreign bloggers invited to the blog awards would receive an exclusive 3D2N Uniquely Singapore experience inclusive of transportation and accommodation.
Singaporean bloggers with winning entries will be attending the Blog Awards gala dinner and also enjoy the Uniquely Singapore tour which will include a very exciting programme.
Blog contest judging criteria and prizes would be announced on 17th September 2009.
Blog contest starts from 17th September to 11th October 2009.

STAGE 3: Voting
The top 5 nominees for all 12 categories would be announced on the 20th September. Nominees would be given a weeks period to rally for votes.
Voting can be casted on both the voting widget and the microsite. The voting phase would be launched on the 20th September.
Voting for nominees would be open to the members of the public. Voters are entitled
to cast one vote in every 24 hours. Please note that the email address has to be
verified before your vote can be accounted for.
More information on the voting mechanism would be announced on the 20th September 2009.
